Robert (Rob) Carson is a born-again, Spirit-filled Christian, and a native of Van Nuys, California. He was born again (accepted Jesus as his Savior) at age 12, in a small church in Canoga Park, California. Rob was drafted into the United States Army in 1966, and he fulfilled his commitment in Germany for two years.

In 1968 he attended the Berean School of the Bible in Missouri and received two diplomas -- one in Ministerial Studies, and the other Doctrine and Bible and received his license to preach soon afterwards. Rob worked for the Southern California Rapid Transit District for 6 years in Van Nuys, California, where he was instrumental in bringing about the “Bus Driver's Bible Truth Fellowship”. 

 
 
Married in 1969, Rob and his wife Beverly moved to Lake Arrowhead California (A mountain Resort Community) where they lived for 26 years. In 1979 he joined the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, where he is currently employed as a Sheriff's Detective. In 1999 Rob and Beverly moved to Redlands California.
 
He was the Chaplain Coordinator for the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department. When asked Rob travels around the country with Prophet/Evangelist Dick Mills. A long-time Bible teacher, evangelist and public speaker, Rob has been used in the healing and prophetic ministry.
 
 In 2001 Rob felt the Lord leading him to send out daily Bible verses to Sheriff's employees in San Bernardino County, California. The name “He Is Risen” came about 6 months later as the result of the Holy Spirit saying He wanted His word to be the first thing read each morning on Christian computers; and that He was going to “rise in the hearts of the readers.” The Lord has increased the reading audience from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's employees, to all Christians throughout the United States to the Middle East. This Bible-based daily message gives the reader three Bible verses, comprised of “The Scripture of the Day,” “The Bonus Scripture” and “The Super Bonus Scripture”. In 2004 the Holy Spirit wanted Rob to added “A Quick Thought” where he writes on short subjects as they relate to everyday issues in the lives of believers. Soon afterwards a “prayer request” list was added. In October 2007, Erik Wong was lead by the Holy Spirit to create an internet website for He Is Risen.

The Lord Jesus is always Number One in Rob and Beverly's life, and they enjoy sharing the Word of God, praying for others, and teaching Biblical truths.
